Loreto – Peruvian Amazon, access from Iquitos
Tropical humid climate year-round (25°C – 32°C). The best time to visit is from May to October (dry season with lower river levels and more accessible trails).
Access is via a river boat from Iquitos (approx. 5–6 hours), navigating the Marañón River to entry communities such as Nauta. From there, visits to the reserve are organized.
